Angus is a Senior Manager in EY’s Financial Services IT Advisory practice in New York where he established the firm’s global cross-competency Digital Currency and Asset Technology group, which provides advisory services to both traditional financial services clients and startups on blockchain and consensus technologies. Over the last eight years Angus has worked across IT advisory with top tier financial institutions, specializing in compliance technology, system builds and implementations. He has worked directly with numerous regulatory agencies and his teams have established industry leading AML practices in the financial sector, in addition to developing and deploying numerous customized technology solutions to address tactical and strategic needs across financial institutions’ organizations.

A software engineer and cryptographer by education, Angus has written for Consumers Research on digital currencies and spoken at numerous conferences on the practicalities of integrating digital currencies and assets into the traditional financial sector.
